Lila Beauchard
Lila Beauchard’s musical path reflects both versatility and dedication. A native of Reims, she began learning the cello under Sophie Delcourt and Marc-Didier Thirault before studying with Diana Ligeti. Currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the CNSMDL in Lyon with Anne Gastinel and Édouard Sappey-Triomphe, she benefits from the mentorship of renowned cellists such as Gary Hoffman, Marc Coppey, and Peter Wispelwey. Lila’s passion for string quartets led her to co-found the Misia Quartet, which works with Yovan Markovitch and performs at prestigious venues like the Auditorium Orchestre national de Lyon. As part of her diverse musical journey, she has also contributed to contemporary works, including a solo piece by Atsushi Sakaï and a contemporary opera production at the Opéra de Lyon. She actively participates in jazz, tango, and experimental music projects, blending written music, improvisation, theater, and dance.
